The Diocesan Office of Worship is pleased to offer liturgical training for those wishing to exercise the role of Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion according to the liturgical norms set forth by the Church. We ask that those who are interested in this ministry kindly register at
https://htdiocese.orglworkshops-1 and attend one of the in-person trainings.
The following four options are available for the fall for those needing to attend a training:- Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 10-11AM at Christ the Redeemer in Thibodaux
- Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 10-11AM at St. Bernadette in Houma
- Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 6:45-7:45PM at Sacred Heart in Cut Off
- Tuesday, November 7, 2023 from 6:30-7:30 PM at Holy Cross in Morgan City
Please be reminded that the deputation of this particular ministry is not granted for life but extends to them for your parish only and for an extended period of time.
