The Missionaries of the Poor have seven homes in Jamaica, with five of the homes being run by the Brothers and the remaining two by the MOP Sisters.
One home is the Faith Center. It is a home for 77 elderly Men. These residents are homeless, abandoned, and have various disabilities.
Good Shepherd Home is also for elderly Men, and 25 people reside in this facility. In 2019 this center was burned down and was rebuilt and resumed its operation on January 25, 2023.
Lord's Place Home is a center for elderly Women, and it is also a home for HIV/AIDS patients 73 residents reside in this center.
Bethlehem Home is a home for children with physical and mental disabilities, and it has 48 children.
Mt. Beatitudes Home is another home for children. It accommodates 31 children.
Jacob's Well Home is a facility for women run by the MOP Sisters. This home facilitates 67 women.
Holy Innocents Home is a home for 31 children.
Among all the houses they have 352 residents being cared for by the Brothers and MOP Sisters who provide for the residents' physical and spiritual needs.
The estimated cost per person per day is $8.00 to provide food, shelter, and care. Your help and donations are greatly appreciated.
